Personal information is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an individual or household. We collect personal information about you from the following sources:
The InControl website uses “cookies” and similar web tracking technologies to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a webpage server. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the InControl services or websites you visit.
Some web browsers may transmit “do-not-track” signals to the websites with which the user communicates. Because of differences in how web browsers incorporate and activate this feature, it is not always clear whether users intend for these signals to be transmitted, or whether they even are aware of them. Because there currently is no industry standard concerning what, if anything, websites should do when they receive such signals, InControl currently does not take action in response to these signals. If and when a final standard is established and accepted, we will reassess how to respond to these signals.

We will verify and respond to your request consistent with applicable law. This may require that we request additional information from you to protect against fraudulent rights requests. To the extent we request such information from you, we will not use this information for purposes unrelated to verifying your identity.
